Until then, moonlight was the light and if you could afford you had a kerosine lamp. So, you know darkness. The mind is still afraid of darkness. Humans prefer light to darkness. Only five years ago my village had light. Now some young ones are unaware of the darkness. A light shines in the darkness that cannot overpower it, we see in gospel of John. God made the world with light until original sin. Again the light was sent, no darkness can overpower it. We are invited to the light. If we do not want darkness, God is good and compassionate giving his son. We are given the light we prefer that is available to everyone. It is our peace. We are part of the joy and peace of the light. Jesus became man by incarnation. Man today also wants to become God. We want to be a power over God, impossible. A joy is given for us to associate with. A life without christ is a physical darkness. Christ is the light shining and darkness cannot overcome it, a privilege. In the beginning was the word. I believe, we have a family history. Struggle always exists. In the beginning learning about God is important as learning our own history, hope of how things will be. In this darkness, God gave the cherished son. Those that accept become children of God. As we celebrate Christmas, it is not for a day. We must keep forever the light Emmanuel. May the light always shine in the world that Christ has dispersed the darkness. We pray for those in the darkness. May christ dispel all forms of trouble.
