His disciples casted their own nets, this is what we see in the gospel. They were simple, most uneducated. Jesus used them to proclaim good news. God calls us to same task indiscriminately. We are to share good news. We should ask the Lord to share faith with one person each day. We may be surprised that the world is hungry for the information. Fish are attracted by light. At night, moonless nights are best for fishing according to my fisherman uncle. Using a torch helps catch fish. You and I are the light of the world. We must live the gospel. We should be the living gospel. Modern people listen to witnesses more than teachers. Let us become fishers of men and women.
