We are discussing wisdom. I visited my mother (aunt) and purchased carrots and lettuce for lunch. She said I have to eat this food to maintain my beauty. The readings remind us to be wise how we live. We are not only physical but also spiritual that needs nourishment. St. Paul reminds us that we must reflect on our actions toward ourselves and others. We are invited to go to the first reading, where we are given the wisdom of what God wants in our lives. The wisdom is Jesus, to eat the bread for our spirit. We are destined to live in heaven with God. Let us turn to Christ to understand what to do to have wisdom.
