We live in a world where our faith is challenged. In Africa the challenge is poverty. Elsewhere the challenge is technology: what is the need of God if we do so much for ourselves? In the first reading, Ezekiel was called when the Israelites were exiled in Babylon. Everytime they realized God is the key, God restored rewards. We are challenged since we are not perfect. We are dependent on God. We try to raise our children for God sometimes without success. We are not God. God does not impose, we choose. The readings tell us we are weak but our faith reminds us that God awakes us, we carry out God's mandate. We pray to remember that God is always amongst us and loves us.
