Ableism
Specific instance of ableism. Seeing a child with autism being told they are a brat and choose to behave badly, when they are struggling to eat due to sensory issues.
It saddens me we live in a world where people think it’s ok to criticise, shame or mock people struggling with a disability. Instead of giving a helping hand and including people facing struggles, they add to it by mocking and insulting those most vulnerable. I wish something would happen in society that would change the culture and mentality towards our vulnerable citizens.
