I remember when I received first communion. My pastor gave us an exam, but I will not give you an exam, do not worry. We are talking about the families that brought the children for first communion. We would love to think they have it 100%, it is unrealistic. The godparents are to help raise the children. I do not expect everyone to get it. Just be honest and say you do not know. Even as a priest I do not know many things. To impart what first communion is comes to us to help explain. Easter is fifty days until Pentecost, showing us that we need to trust in him.
