I will be ten years a priest on July1, honored to travel from baptism to death with people. Faith journey is foreign, baptism begins journey of what we can do to be more faithful. We are still in the Easter season; in Australia Easter Monday is a holiday. Pentecost is fifty days of Easter. What is God calling me to do? Be a doer? In Australia I had six churches with no assistance. I do a calling not a job, not just to do. What is Faith for you? Do you feel different when you step out of church. The readings today make us be redeemers. Peter tells people to accept Jesus, showing that even rejecting God does not make God reject us. We rise from mistakes. Easter is about moving forward from the past. God wants us to get out of darkness, symbolized with the Pascal candle, the light of Christ. The message today, if anything has kept you in the grave move on, have a new purpose. Easter is about moving on, move on with Christ. Ask God to help us move on. When Jesus offered disciples peace, the disciples no longer had fear and went out and spread the word. So, have the courage to move on with Christ.
