Faith is more of what God does through us, we walk in faith and not in sight. A beautiful gift, how do we nuture the gift? The readings are a continuation from last week. God has planted our seed, this week we see our faith get challenged and we see what we do. We sleep when in a voyage, relaxed. Christ was on the boat having a sleep, no storm will phase us or God that is why he was sleeping. Before waking him, the disciples may have had questions, "God where are you?" The disciples woke him as a prayer and Jesus questioned their faith. Today, when your faith is challenged what do you do? I remind them of Job; his faith was challenged. But one thing he did not do is forsake God. Job never lost sight of what God could do for him. Communication lines with God must be kept. God does things in his own time. Patience and trust that God is with us. Christmas reminds us that God is with us as a man. Trust in God, we cannot get through life without a good prayer life. Prayer is talking and listening to God. Understand how you need to pray. Prayer is what we need to do to have a healthy relationship with God. We cannot do life alone. God wants to collaborate with us. Talk to God, no textbook way. Figure out how to talk to God. Let us pray for the grace to know God wants to collaborate with us to turn around any mess.
