Jesus is alive, walking with us. John book is divided in two, the gospel and the book of the hour (the moment he gives life for salvation). Jesus says if you feel death is close you tell them what you need to say as Jesus did. Jesus prayed looking up to heaven. How is the prayer of Jesus, how is he praying? Chapter 17 is a good example. Jesus prayed for us, intercession. Jesus prays for unity in his church. The gift of unity, how can we be united? Easy to see divisions, not easy to hear the other. Jesus invites us to unity. What is unity he longs for? He prays that they may be one. We may think we are in community to give what we serve. Much more when we give than receive. We are helping each other when we pray. If everyone gives, everyone is receiving. We go in unity. We build community with God, unity is a supernatural gift. We should ask for the grace of unity. We cannot build unity without understanding we need to forgive. Matthias replaced Judas, we need to forgive each other to maintain unity. Every gift comes from God, we can see how many blessings we received. God is love, we are to be thankful for our mothers, and be thankful for them. May the Lord bless us to be more in unity to this love of God.
