I feel like a teacher. Mass is an action. We are engaged so that we are not here just hearing the church. Priests engage with public, active participation by priests compared to not facing congregation at all. Am I engaging properly? What word was repeated in scripture today? Love, Christianity is a religion of love. Everything we do is to love. Do we live out love in day to day life? Remain in Christ's love and joy will be in you. Pope Francis discusses living joy of gospel. Joy comes from within. Christ tries to explain his relationship with us, as with the vine. Christ came for us to be joyful, to live with purpose. If you love someone you tell them the truth. Love means I wish your good, which is what we are called to do as Christians. Christ came for us to learn to support each other. Love of God and neighbor, that is who we are, that is why we come to church. Do this in memory of me, Christ wanted us to remember. We are not an exclusive club. Regardless of who we are, we have communion, Christianity defined. We are a religion of love. Unity does not mean we have to agree with everyone. We get too carried away sometimes that we forget what we are about. We are called to love, we need to see the God image person. We respect the God in each other. What are we about? We want to learn from Christ. We need to see the God in each other. Let us pray for the grace to know what this means, to help Christ with his purpose.
